The same team and partnership you know, now backed by the global scale of Presidio.
We are delighted to share an important milestone in the BoatyardX story. Following Presidio’s acquisition of Ergo, completed in January 2026, BoatyardX is now part of Presidio, a leading global technology services and solutions provider. It is a moment that opens up new possibilities for the products we build together, while keeping everything you value about working with us exactly as it is.
Since day one, our promise has been simple: partner closely with you to design, build, and support bespoke cloud products that move your business forward. That does not change. The people you work with remain the same, our delivery teams stay in place, and our commitment to transparency, direct communication, and quality remains at the core of everything we do.
What is new is the platform behind us. As part of Presidio, we can draw on a far broader set of capabilities, spanning AI, automation, cybersecurity, networking, data, and cloud, along with a global delivery footprint. In practice, that means when your ambitions grow, we have more ways to help you realise them, without you ever having to look for a new partner.
How we got here
This announcement is the latest chapter in a journey of steady, deliberate growth. Here are the key moments:
- March 2019: BoatyardX is founded
We set out to partner with enterprises and scaling startups to build cloud-first, bespoke products, from initial discovery and design through development and long-term support. Since then we have grown to a team of around 120 people and delivered for more than 20 clients.
- November 2022: BoatyardX joins Ergo
We became part of Ergo, Ireland’s largest privately-owned IT services company. Joining forces accelerated our growth and expanded our offering across new markets and services, while BoatyardX kept its brand, its teams, and the way it works with clients.
- January 2026: Ergo, and BoatyardX, join Presidio
Presidio completed its acquisition of Ergo, bringing our combined teams into one of the most innovative and comprehensive technology services companies in the region. BoatyardX is now a Presidio company, with global scale behind our specialist cloud product engineering.
