The annual All – Ireland Business Foundation Conference took place in Ireland’s principal national stadium, Croke Park on May 18th – a most fitting location for an Ireland focused business networking event. In attendance at the event from BoatyardX was John O’Shea, Head of Business Development and Suzanne McGloughlin, Director Customer & Delivery.
The mission of the All-Ireland Business Summit is to enable meaningful connections between Irish entrepreneurs and business leaders, and empower our community with the knowledge necessary to both grow and thrive. The agenda this year was exciting and insightful. Breege O’Donoghue, Former Primark Board Member spoke passionately about her business journey and the key principles of respect, customer experience and brand loyalty. Dan Kiely, Co-Founder of Voxpro shared his incredible story of business growth and success, focusing on the need to have fun along the way and the importance of team chemistry. Other inspiring stories were shared by Joanne Hession, Founder & CEO of LIFT Ireland, David Glass, Partner M&C Saatchi, Caroline Dowling, Non-Executive Director at UNICEF and Dr Stephen Kinsella, Economist and Senior Lecturer at UL.
John O’Shea and Suzanne McGloughlin had the privilege of holding the Liam McCarthy Cup, awarded annually by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) to the team that wins the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, and the Sam Maguire Cup, awarded annually to the winners of the All -Ireland Senior Football Championship.
A great networking day celebrating success and connecting with other business leaders. BoatyardX looks forward to participating in next year’s event again.
