Head of Growth – Canada / US / Ireland

BoatyardX is seeking to strengthen its leadership team with a dedicated Head of Growth, reporting to the Managing Director (CEO) to lead the growth of the business.  

The Head of Growth is responsible for driving business development and client acquisition/sales across a range of channels (direct, partnerships, strategic alliances, etc.).

What will I be doing?
  • Drive top-line growth – 100% year on year growth target for next 2-3 years.
  • Lead development and evolution of go to market strategy and proposition in collaboration with MD and Leadership Team.
  • Establish and develop deep relationships with Customers and Growth partners (referral network and go to market partners).
  • Prospect for customers and growth partners through direct outreach, warm introductions, and targeted networking.
  • Drive the sales cycle from initial engagement to closing.
  • Develop and lead sales and marketing capabilities and teams to plan and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Draft and deliver proposals, working with technology and delivery teams to address customer requirement fit.
  • Be a leader for our people in decision making and behaviours reinforcing BoatyardX culture and priorities.
What skills and experiences do I need?
  • The ideal candidate will have technical acumen, previous experience in developing relationships and driving sales growth across small, mid and enterprise clients through a consultative sales process.
  • This person will also be a strategic leader in the company, working with the leadership team to develop, evolve and expand BoatyardX proposition into new areas to support growth.
